Events for July 21, 2018 › Educational Programs for Adults
We are postponing the Insect Safari due to unforeseen circumstances and will reschedule for a new date soon. Please let us know if you would like to receive notices about the new date.
MLT Board members and volunteers are embarking on a four month long “Biodiversity Safari” to create an inventory of plants and animals on one of our premier, member-owned conservation properties. We can use YOUR help as we assemble a team of naturalists and nature enthusiasts to identify flowers, birds, insects, wetland life, mushrooms and mosses, and night-time creatures at this special farm in Uxbridge.
There are plenty of insects of all types at Foxfire Farm! You will have fun discovering them and trying to identify them! Here are three that we met on our June visit!
This citizen science opportunity is not only a wonderful time to share your own knowledge of New England flora and fauna, but also to learn from others. Each event will be limited to 20 participants. Please see the details below and sign up by writing to us now at email@example.com. Please include your name, best phone number, and number who would like to participate.
When you register, we will send you the start and end times and the street address of the property. Due to the site conditions, we recommend these events for adults, teens and children over 10 years old with a parent.
You do not have to sign up for all events — but please let us know if you can commit to all events.
